Dart hotels awarded prestigious MICHELIN Key distinction in inaugural worldwide 2025 selection
18 November 2025The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, the boutique Palm Heights hotel in Grand Cayman and the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla – three properties in Dart’s worldclass hospitality portfolio – have been awarded 2025 MICHELIN Keys and recognised as among the world’s most outstanding hotels.
The MICHELIN Key, which launched last year in North America, Europe and Asia, is the hotel equivalent of the MICHELIN Star for restaurants; this is the first year MICHELIN has acknowledged properties in the Caribbean, unveiling a new level of distinction for hotels in the region that offer exceptional design and deliver extraordinary guest service and experiences.
Earning two MICHELIN Keys in the 2025 selection, the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla continues to set the bar for luxury hospitality in the Caribbean. As the centrepiece of Dart’s international hospitality portfolio, the beachfront resort is celebrated for exceptional guest experiences and innovative offerings, such as the newly reimagined Salt restaurant. For the third consecutive year, it achieved the Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star rating and was named Anguilla’s Leading Wedding Resort by the 2025 World Travel Awards.
The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman has added one MICHELIN Key to its impressive list of prestigious industry awards, making it a standout in the Caribbean. Earlier this year, the property received three Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star ratings for the resort, its spa and its restaurant Blue by Eric Ripert; and earned a AAA Five Diamond rating, making it one of the world’s only resorts to hold all three distinctions.
Palm Heights, an all-suite hotel located on Seven Mile Beach in Grand Cayman, also acquired one MICHELIN Key. The boutique resort was designed to allow guests to revel in the understated glamour at the property that is a generational reboot celebrating regional culture, cuisine, wellness, thinking and design.
The MICHELIN Key designations mark Dart’s latest benchmark for excellence within the hospitality industry. Earlier this year, the developer was also recognised as the hotel Ownership Group of the Year by the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide.
“Being part of the first-ever MICHELIN Key selection in the Caribbean is a tremendous honour that reflects Dart’s enduring partnership with the world’s finest hospitality brands. These recognitions underscore Dart’s dedication to creating destinations and experiences that consistently exceed global standards for luxury, design and guest service,” said Enrique Tasende, senior vice president of active investments at Dart.
Tasende, who oversees Dart’s hospitality portfolio, added: “Our philosophy centres on collaboration with visionary partners who share our pursuit of quality and innovation. The MICHELIN Key distinction recognises not only these three stand-out properties, but also our team’s commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of our developments.”
