A Caribbean gem: Hotel Indigo® Grand Cayman earns prestigious AAA Four Diamond designation

Hotel Indigo

Hotel Indigo® Grand Cayman has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond Hotel designation, marking a historic milestone as the first Hotel Indigo property to receive this prestigious recognition. Developed by Dart, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman can now be included among an exclusive group of hotels that embody refined style, superior service and elevated hospitality standards.

Located along the legendary Seven Mile Beach corridor, Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman is the sister property to the renowned Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, one of only two Grand Cayman AAA Five Diamond Resorts. Together, the two properties have solidified Dart’s reputation for creating world-class Caribbean destinations that artfully bring together design, cuisine, culture and a high standard of service.

“Being recognised as a AAA Four Diamond Hotel is a true testament to the passion, creativity and dedication of our entire team,” said Yann Gillet, area general manager of Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman and Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa. “The distinction reflects our commitment to offering guests an authentic, sophisticated and inspiring island experience that feels both luxurious and deeply connected to the Cayman community.”

Throughout the year, AAA Inspectors conduct anonymous evaluations of hotels and restaurants across North America, the Caribbean and Costa Rica. Properties are assessed on the 4 Cs of AAA Diamonds: cleanliness, comfort, cuisine and consistency. Hotels earning the Four Diamond rating are recognised for “upscale style and amenities, enhanced with the right touch of service”. These establishments feature progressively refined accommodations, extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality and attention to detail, ensuring guests experience elevated comfort and care at every turn.
