High school and university are a marathon not a sprint. Looking after yourself and being healthy limits the possibility of burnout.

Florence's highlights

  • International Business Management (first-class honours, Dean’s commendation)
  • Graduate Diploma in Law (first-class honours)
  • Legal Practice Course with MSc in Law, Business and Management (first class honours)
  • 2016 Olympics Games in sailing
  • Sailing Youth Olympic Games, CAC Games and World Championships

Training for the Olympics taught Florence the importance of working hard to achieve her dreams, to be as ‘coachable’ as possible and to never give up. She applies these same principles to her work and personal life, aiming to be the best lawyer she can be and achieve the best results for her clients.

As a Dart Scholar, Florence interned every summer at Dart in a variety of roles, from HR and real estate marketing to investments. She appreciated having the exposure to different types of work in helping her make her own career choices.
