Spotlight On: Red Sail Sports’ Red’s Emporium

The newest addition to the Red Sail Sports family of stores and to the busy town centre of Camana Bay, Red’s Emporium is the company’s ninth, and biggest, retail location on island – conveniently located between KARoo and Pani Indian Kitchen on the Crescent.

Offering lifestyle options, unique gifts and affordable fashionwear, Red’s Emporium is “more than a dive shop with a retail boutique; it represents a milestone for us in being our largest store to date, catering to all lifestyles and individuals at affordable prices,” says Jim Beisel, Retail Manager. The shop opened its doors to the public on Friday, May 10, 2019.

The lively town of Camana Bay, nestled between the Caribbean Sea and the North Sound, was a perfect fit for the retailer who enjoys a reputation as a local institution in the watersports industry. Red Sail Sports first set sail in 1987 operating two dive boats from the Hyatt Regency Grand Cayman.

Over 30 years later, with no plans to slow down, the shop also provides opportunities for residents and visitors to schedule tours and other Red Sail expeditions around the island. The team intends to offer tours departing from Camana Bay in the near future, with schedules to be released soon.

“This is a proud moment for us and we are excited to add Camana Bay on our location map,” adds Mr. Biesel.
