Camana Bay Aquatic Club change in ownership

Dart has announced plans to transition ownership of Camana Bay Aquatic Club (CBAC) to its members.

The CBAC swim club will continue to offer coaching, synchronised swimming and a Swim School in the same location at the Camana Bay Sports Complex.

Dart will continue to support CBAC by providing use of the pool during existing hours at no cost, as the swim club remains an important part of the Camana Bay community.  CBAC was established in 2011 to activate the pool outside of school hours and to meet the growing demand in the Cayman community for an additional swim club.

No changes to the current programming or coaching staff are planned during the transition period, which is slated to be complete by August ahead of the new swim season.  CBAC’s change in ownership provides opportunities for club members to have more input on operational decisions and the club’s future growth and direction.

Members were advised of the change in ownership at a CBAC general meeting on Tuesday 6 March 2018.
