Dart and NBA partnership

Dart and the National Basketball Association (NBA) first launched the Jr. NBA programme in the Cayman Islands in 2023. Through the collaboration, Dart and the NBA share a united goal of growing the sport of basketball in the Cayman Islands, improving the fundamental skills of young players and promoting the importance of a healthy and active lifestyle.

The NBA’s grassroots basketball development programming reaches tens of millions of youths in more than 180 countries annually. The league’s expanding global reach has been fueled by its long-term focus on growing programmes for youths. The Jr. NBA/Jr. WNBA, the league’s global youth basketball programme for boys and girls, teaches the fundamental skills of basketball, as well as the core values of the game – teamwork, respect, determination and community – to help grow and improve the youth basketball experience for players, coaches and parents alike.

Dart’s long-standing commitment to creating extraordinary places, experiences and opportunities in the Cayman Islands includes decades of support for youth sports through facilities, programmes, sponsorships and partnerships, such as the Jr. NBA Programme in the Cayman Islands.
